Q&A: Why did Cater have red eyes? (Twisted Wonderland)

In early drafts (and in-game implementations), Cater had red eyes.
Possibly related to his homeland of Land of Pyroxene, his last name of “Diamond,” the gem “Alexandrite,” or all of the above?
