In my opinion, this was amazing, but everyone has to see this from different perspectives I mean, everyone is trying to survive. It’s not like the ones who play the gods truly care about the sirens, and it’s not like you can be pacifist, too. It’s a war in which people are meant to die, and yeah, it’s selfish, but imagine it like this: if the roles were reversed, if Yuu was the siren and Jade Odysseus, it would be different, but they still do the same thing right. I mean, no matter what this story is specifically about Yuu or Odysseus and the foes we encounter, but yeah, maybe don’t kill them so harshly but, the sirens do the same; they play with their food and eat them, they all do it for ethier survival or entertainment and I hope they see that with Scylla she calls Odysseus the same as her, because what they are doing is to survive to make sure everything will work out. And you can not say as a person you wouldn’t do the same if you weren’t put in the spot, everyone is the same in the end they are trying to do what they can, so yeah, Yuu is a monster, but so are the sirens, gods, and every being the go up against, I mean think of it, his men died because of the cyclops and the fact that he gave away his position got more men killed so yes he’s an idiot too, but if he did the same for the sirens gave them that same mercy who’s to say they won’t go on and kill more without care, which gets reversed in Gods game with Apollo, now they are cautious, and i’m not saying what Yuu did was right, he was being brutal but thats survival to him and he can’t afford to be weak and I still feel for these characters as I do not see really see Yuu hurting his friends in this current life like the past, but back then they weren’t friends they weren’t anything related to each other just enimeies or strangers, but I do have to say Muinty is gonna be bad and in that part both Yuu and Sebek are in the wrong, but also they have their points. So overall, we can not really blame either party. I do think they should not try to let a past life event affect them because they have to try seeing it from the other’s perspective. Still, it will be hard because this is like seeing your murder from your past life; it’s gonna take a very long to heal, or maybe it won’t at all, by the end of this, I see Yuu not really having anyone. After all, this is slowly breaking relationships.

So personally, I think this could be a cool character moment for Azul if explored. If the twins are hung up with the sins of the past life, he could bite the bullet for Yuu and point out that it was his past life that pushed Yuu to this point by taking revenge and teaching him that he can’t afford to leave survivors that could take revenge. Just food for thought
