I think the Yuu Housewarden confusion may also come from a mistake/mistranslation in Book 1. While Riddle blows up about the chestnut tart, Yuu asks them about the Heartslabyul rules. Riddle replies “There are 810 rules in total, and Housewarden, I can of course recite all of them perfectly”. The translation was probably meant to be “*as* Housewarden”, but this instead looks like Riddle calling the prefect Housewarden, which could give new players this impression!

The Housewarden drama is so funny lmao think about it, if they were the housewarden they’d be called the housewarden. But they’re not. Because they’re not a housewarden.

This is not a comment about the content of the video itself, but…

I don’t know if it’s just my earphones or if I have permanent hearing damage

But I keep hearing high-pitched noises along with the audio, and it’s kind of bugging me

I made sure to test this by playing other videos for comparison, and I really think it’s the audio that’s making that sound that I keep hearing

Anyway, I just thought I’d let you know

Now, what I do believe could be the true is something more alike to fanfics: jamil was accepted first, but seeing how the al asim family has a lot of “polítical issues” they bribed the Headmaster to accept kalim faster (but he was already accepted). Like if the semester started in september, It was done for kalim to already be there in July

Seeing how this is a relatively successful project, I wouldnt be surprised if there is more after chapter 7

I think the ramshackle housewarden/prefect issue could also come into play could be because of the deal Yuu makes with Azul in book 3 regarding the dorm itself. I could be wrong but I think in en it’s implied that Yu speaks for the ramshackle dorm when making that deal. It could’ve just been Azul sweet talking Yu as well though but I do see where confusion on that front could come from.

3:30 I think the source of this rumor could stem from the tasks that the prefect handles appearing to be not so different from that of a Housewarden and the titles seem interchangeable to that end.

Another 3 in game instances that may have contributed to this could be when Ace absconds to their dorm in Book 1 ch 1 declaring “I’m joining your dorm for good.” , when Riddle fixes the player’s tie in Book 2 Ch 16 and states that, “As prefect, you should set a better example for your dorm members.” and in Book 3 Ch 10 where Azul proposes the dorm be offered as collateral, “…how about usage rights for the Ramshackle Dorm, which is presently under Yuu’s supervision?”

These suggest that the prefect is believed to be able to accept new dorm members in a similar capacity to the other dorms, is the leader of the current sole dorm member and any other future dorm members, and has full reign on what goes on in and can be done with the dorm.

I think the issue with Deuce’s Signature Spell is that people confuse the possibility of absorbing multiple attacks, versus, one. It’s implied that Deuce builds up a single large hit, by absorbing several of the opponent’s attacks. Therefore, making a single hit of Double Down more potent than a single hit of an opponent. Some people may have interpreted it as Deuce amplifying attacks that he absorbed.
