Q: How was Malleus born as a dragon and but then grew up to look the way he is now? Do other fae also have a true form?

I have also wondered about this true form thing, but in the sense that in Bk 7 CH 26, Lilia reveals that dragon fae are still children at 200 and Malleus is only 178, could it be that he just *chose* to look like an 18+ year old?

On the JP server, there’s a moment where Malleus is showing off his new bipedal form to Lilia at around 20+ years and Lilia is able to carry him (he also sounds younger) and Silver and Sebek have only known Malleus in his current form which means he’d been using it since at least 160 years or so.

But then we also have to consider how similar he looks to his mother and father (based on the fact that Lilia mistook him for him), and at the time, Malleus did not know what either looked like, so there are likely some limitations to how this form can be ‘shaped’.
